UPDATE: The clinic has done a complete 180° on a dime! Tobias, the prior director whom I skewered in my review is long gone, and Tami the new director is more than OUTSTANDING! She has completely overhauled the clinic, we now have a full staff of experienced counselors who actually CARE about us now. A new IT system was installed which has sped up the process for everyone. Now all we have to do is type our number into the kiosk and bam, immediately it tells you if you have something to do before you dose, like a UA. If not, greenlights you to go. No more long waits, no more anxiety. The entire staff has changed for the better. Natasha, the front desk "catch all" staffer is enormously helpful, non-judgmental, and caring. Considering the amount of work she does Natasha deserves an award for patience, accuracy, and patient service! VTS has surpassed every other clinic in the area, and considering how bad things were, understand how huge this really is. Patient services has finally become the focus, and I credit the entire staff, especially Tami and Ken, for the enormous change. We also have a new P.A. who can sign off on dose changes or exceptions! Thank you to EVERYONE at VTS for working so hard to turn VTS into a place that feels positive and reliable. The change in fee policy ($100/wk now instead) has helped so many, myself included. THANK YOU VTS!!! OLDER (WRITTEN A YEAR AGO): This place likes to believe they are worth FAR more than they are. Here's the 411. The executive director has NO experience. He even allowed his CASAC to lapse. The counselors do their best, but the place is there to make money, and the people that truly wanted to help have all gone. They lose nurses and staff CONSTANTLY. 4 different new counselors in a year and 2 quit. The entire 5 experienced front staff have quit, including Lisa, who the place was LUCKY TO HAVE AND SHOULD HAVE DONE RIGHT BY HER AND DONE WHATEVER WAS NECESSARY TO KEEP HER BECAUSE THE PLACE IS GOING TO NOW FALL APART. OH! The last doc quit and good riddance, considering she contacted people's doctors with NO HIPAA RELEASE! (AND WAS ALLOWED TO GET AWAY WITH IT EVEN THOUGH SHE WAS JUST ANOTHER EMPLOYEE, SHE DIDNT RUN THE PLACE BUT ACTED LIKE SHE DID). The expense is completely unjustified when it comes to their awful inefficiency, lack of staff that the clinic director is DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR HIRING. BUT since he can't seem to even keep his door open when the place is packed and only one nurse is on staff it's doubtful to change anytime soon. The pay is so off what is expected, they can't seem to keep them for more than a few months except for 2. They just hired a 3rd and 4th so who knows now? If they lose any more, then the place is done. To pay so much for such horrific service is already maddening. To wait over an hour and sometimes longer, when other clinics literally have you in and out (especially when you have been clean a long time and get take home doses) in 5 minutes, is a very big tell that the director needs to get it together and start working for the people who pay his salary, the patients. To then do stupid things like putting a patient on an intense and fast financial detox is medical abandonment over payment. And sometimes a person only needs an extra day beyond the 5 graced days, paychecks don't necessarily coincide with the 1st and 15th of the month. But they will reduce their dose by 10% a day til they pay. That is just telling someone that they do not care so go screw up your treatment and use til you can raise that 202.50 every 2 weeks. A broken back, falling off a balcony, they can all end up with you in treatment because doctors forget the whole physical dependence thing and insist instead on the word addiction, even when misused. It is a mistake to think that just BC someone is in treatment that they are a dirtbag. Very much the opposite is true. So it would be wise to stop screwing with people who know who your regulatory authority happens to be, and even wiser to start complying with OSHA standards. Again Mr. Director: GET IT TOGETHER.

The methadone clinic is amazing, hands down it's helped me with my pain so much I'm literally shocked. The only problem I have with this clinic is that; the early bird schedule, for people to get their doses before 6am because they need to be at work before or at 6am, is a complete mess.

The methadone clinic is amazing, hands down it's helped me with my pain so much I'm literally shocked. The only problem I have with this clinic is that; the early bird schedule, for people to get their doses before 6am because they need to be at work before or at 6am, is a complete mess. There are to many times in the morning that we are told that "we are down to just one nurse" this is a frequent problem that a nurse is missing or late. I cannot stress to you how important being on time is for my job; let alone everyone else who took the time to inform there supervisor of this private matter, get a letter written signed and turned so we can get our medication and be at work on time. But lately this hasn't been the case. It's really upsetting that these nurses are arriving late all the time. I am paying for this treatment, I am taking the time to work on my self and get things in order and it makes it very hard when there's medical staff late to work thus making the dispensing of medicine slower, making me late to work. Being a young adult, I know I have to work at the bottom of the totem pole at my job and/or anything that I just start I have to work to gain more responsibility , but I just wish these nurses respected the fact they deal with patients and that they are on time to their responsibilities. It's very upsetting to sit in a line for 30 mins then just 5 mins all because someone is to tired to get up for work.
