Amazing place. They help so many people. Not just the homeless but they get people off of drugs. And that's no easy feat. Stop by and volunteer

If your homeless and have no place to eat you can go there if you have a voucher and get a mat for you to give you pillows showers are open till 9:30 movies is microwave in there. I'll feed you breakfast lunch and dinner. If you don't have a voucher pay $5 at 6:30 and get a mat but the spots go out really fast so you want to be there early to line up for him

I love this place. Being homeless is rough but being a single female and homeless is really rough. Besides the occasional off the wall drugged out female this is a place to shower eat get clean clothes and really just chill out away from the horrors of sleeping outside not being able to afford Portland rent due to Californians moving in. I work 70 hours a week and can't get qualified to rent a studio, no evictions no drugs or alcohol. Making $13/hr...

City Team saved me from the worst time of my life. I will always be in their debt. I knew I would get food and drinks and a mat on the floor, I didn't expect so many really nice people. I was really surprised that there were some excellent musicians Tom & Chris we're exceptional. I will have to get back ahold of them, Especially Tom he is a great song writer w a unique style that he could go far with.Chris may be the best amateur guitarist I have ever heard (besides me of course) joking. If u are down and out in Portland OR or Vancouver WA.try to get there, it's at 526 s.e.Grand in Portland, tell em Shake sent ya God Bless you Steve Keglet

Are you a woman. And feel like all services in Portland are for single men. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1 to 3pm GO Shower. Get clean clothes and eat. Then watch at night when the men get a place to sleep and you are outside because the only 2 shelters for women have a year waiting list.

A caring facility for the less fortunate, overnight shelter & food. They also provide rehabilitation for alcohol & drug addiction.

Free and clothing. Often good main dishes, kind of light on sides.

Friendly staff and volunteers. Always good dinners, the best breakfast is the oatmeal with strawberries/blueberries/blackberries. Definitely could use more coffee, butter, and a slightly longer women's hour. 2 hours to fight off rabid scaley potato women just to get a snack, grab some clothes and snag am open shower stall is hectic business.

I'm not a big fan of this place. Fights every other evening, drug addicts sleeping out front of the place and they don't run them off. But it's a Christian run homeless shelter and at least they're doing something

They are an awesome Christian organization they need help to expand to helping women more!!

I enjoyed the ambiance and people. The food was good, getting some to go as well. I knew it was time to go when the table and chairs were getting broken down around me. For a short walk from the homestead, it hit the spot. Pumpkin pie was rich and delicious with the strong coffee.

Decent food, good people; sometimes closed unexpectedly but generally reliable. If you're in need of food, clothing, a shower or somewhere to sleep you can find it here.

My kids and I started volunteering here 11 years ago after my husband left us. I wasn't homeless, but I was overcome with fear and grief. I needed to get outside myself and help others for my own healing. I ended up working there for a time teaching in the recovery center, and have only fond memories of Cityteam. Cityteam is a wonderful miracle of God. Sone of these reviews are so sad to me, because they are full of bitterness and incorrect information. There has never been a manager named Ed, no one has ever slept in the basement, and it is actually pretty safe. Yes, criminals might stay in the shelter, because it's there to help EVERYONE. It's not a hotel, it's a HOMELESS SHELTER. I know many amazing people who were the worst of the worst, and Cityteam helped then turn it all around. Now I take juvenile offenders to serve the meal and hear recovery stories from graduates of the program. If you are struggling, with anything, go serve a meal. It will feed your soul.

Very nice people, let me in free during winter weather my first night being homeless. Very caring people, especially one dude running it. Only concern is, bad bed bug problem, I was bitten around twenty or thirty times during the night. So, rounded 3.5 stars up out of the same courtesy they showed me. If possible, maybe blast building with ozone to kill bugs?

This is a wonderful organization. They help men with drug addictions and provide some housing. They always need help. It is a lot of fun to meet new people and provide them with a meal.
